Virtual Reality Emergency Response Training
Offering emergency medical training that transcends traditional training methods.
Fully Responsive Patient
Going beyond surface treatments, our program allows for a flexible and fully responsive patents with dynamic reactions to treatments mimicking what is encountered in the real world.
Multiplayer Function
Students can work through a scenario together similar to what they’d experience when on the job.
Instructor Interaction
Instructors are able to set the scenarios and have the option to interact with students as the patient providing a more dynamic learning experience allowing students to work on bedside manner in addition to treatment protocol.
Real World Scenarios
Going beyond textbook situations, students are taught to navigate scenarios they’ll experience once on the job.
Re-Integration Training
Realistic environments and patient interactions allows Emergency Medical Professionals to work through their triggers in a realistic and safe environment.
Created by EMS for EMS
Our founder is an Advanced Care Paramedic who has applied his firsthand field knowledge in developing the scenarios for our training software.
Are you tired of other technology companies pushing their solutions?
We started VFL out of a desire to offer higher level training opportunities for first responders. As we grew and learned more about the industry, it’s become apparent that other programs are developed by technology companies who know the tech very well but are lacking in the practicality and application in the real world. This is where VFL is different. Our founder is an Advanced Care Paramedic first and a developer second. Our software is based on firsthand EMS knowledge integrating real world scenarios and responsive patients to provide the most realistic training experience possible outside of the real world.

Real Training
- Teach your students or employees in a realistic virtual environment tailored to your training needs.
- Full hand and motion control lets them interact with the scenario in intuitive and realistic ways.
- Setup your training with near limitless Emergency scenario variations by combining hundreds of patient conditions, environments and equipment.
- From Dispatch to Hospital, and anywhere in between, simulate an Emergency medical scenario from beginning to end.
- Whether guiding single or multiple learners through a simulation, the instructor always had full control. However, automation of almost every aspect of the simulation allows the instructor to observe, teach and participate, while the student’s treatment decisions are realized in real-time.
Real Patients
- Fully responsive patients who react realistically to treatment teaching students
- Whether you’re simulating anaphylaxis, COPD, blood loss, or multi-trauma, a unique patient tailored to your scenario needs is only a few clicks away.
- Our “Automated Biological Profile” allows instructors to set the robust patient parameters in the setup, and the software will do the rest.
- The patient’s appearance, vitals and outcomes will change as the student’s provide interventions and treatments.
- Customize their available equipment, medications and tools, and let your students explore their treatment plans in a safe and realistic way.
- Develop the soft skills that are vital for ALL health care workers and are paramount in realistic scenario training.
Real Environments
- Choose from a growing list of real-world places and settings. As the simulation progresses, move your students through a progression of these realistic room-scale virtual environments.
- Perhaps the simulation starts with your students assessing scene safety from the front seat of an ambulance. Once they have visually determined scene safety, the simulation moves to a highway ditch where the patient has crashed their vehicle. The next progression brings them to the back of an ambulance. The choice is yours.
- VFL also lets you place items throughout the scene. Whether it’s DNR, a pill bottle, drug paraphernalia or a gun, these clues can provide valuable insights about patient history and scene safety.
